ABOUT OUR PROPERTY RENTALS

Astrodon is a market leader in property management, residential sales and home letting because we provide our clients with all of this, backed by our collective decades of experience in property management, sales and home letting.

Astrodon was established in 2004, and since then we have grown to be one of the leading property management agencies in Gauteng, currently managing in excess of 8000 Sectional Title/Home Owners’ Association units. These units consist of more than 220 buildings and in excess of 300 individual rental accounts. In accordance with the regulations governing managing agents, Astrodon is registered with all the required statutory and regulatory bodies, including the Estate Agency Affairs Board (EAAB) and the National Association of Managing Agents (NAMA). 

Property management with Astrodon includes having a designated Portfolio Manager appointed to serve as a single point of communication and service delivery for trustees/directors and owner service requests. Every Portfolio Manager is further supported by a designated Debtor, ensuring prompt collection of monthly levies, as well as our expert support team of bookkeepers, creditor’s payment and clearance department who are all on hand to provide professional, seamless service across the board. 

Clients are also provided with quick and easy management information, available 24/7, through our use of state of the art technology. Our systems provide online reporting and access to information like building statutory information such as conduct rules, Sectional Title Plans, AGM meeting minutes and various legislative documentation so that owners and trustees are kept up to date at all times. This system can also be used by registered members to request maintenance assistance by merely login into the online portal, ensuring the safety and convenience of all units and clients as far as possible. Tracking information in terms of such requests will also be available.

 Our staff members frequently undergo training and refresher courses to ensure that they are up to date with all the latest and local property trends and legislations, including seminars on the Community Scheme Ombud (CSOS). These courses include those for Estate Agency Affairs Board NQFL4 qualifications, PDE examinations and CPD training. Our staff members have also completed the UCT Sectional Title Management course as well as Home Owners Associations management courses.
